95 FTI Students Pass the Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) Batch 5

The Certified Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) is a valuable opportunity for FTI students to gain hands-on experience in the industry. Congratulations to the 95 students who successfully passed in this Batch 5, especially the 14 students participating in the internship program and the 81 students in the Independent Study program!
Through this activity, students will have the chance to learn directly from partners, both online and offline, for approximately 5 months. The accompanying lecturers and mentors will provide essential guidance during this learning process. We hope all participants can make the most of this opportunity, gain valuable experiences, and develop competencies relevant to their future careers. Happy learning and good luck!

Chemical Engineering Students of UPNVY Win 2nd Place in the National Writing Competition Agricultural Food Competition Season 16 (2025)

Students from the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI) at the University of Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta (UPNVY) have won 2nd place in the National Writing Competition Agricultural Food Competition Season 16, held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. This UPNVY student team presented an innovation titled ECOWRAP: An Eco-Friendly Biodegradable Wrapping Film Based on Water Hyacinth and Corn Cobs to Extend the Shelf Life of Fruits and Vegetables.

UPN 'Veteran' Yogyakarta Creates Environmentally Friendly Eco-Cement from Eggshells and Water Hyacinth (2025)

A research team from the Chemical Engineering Department of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta has successfully developed an innovative eco-cement made from eggshells and water hyacinth, which is environmentally friendly and has the potential to be a construction material of the future. This research is led by Dr. Heri Septya Kusuma, S.Si., M.T., together with four students: Aurelio Muhammad Saleemah Agung, Najla Anira Putri, Muhamad Shifu, and Nafisa Illiyanasafa.
