Fadhyatul Bella Nursiva (NIM 121200121), a student of the Chemical Engineering Bachelor's Program, under the guidance of Dr. Heri Septya Kusuma, S.Si., M.T., achieved an impressive accomplishment in the Bina Desa Infographic Poster Design Competition organized by the Society of Renewable Energy (SRE) at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta.
With the title "Karangsong Village: As a Media for Public Education on the Development of Solar Power and Start a Sustainable Lifestyle", Bella won 1st place in this competition. The infographic poster she created illustrated how Karangsong Village could serve as a media platform for public education on solar power development and the initiation of a sustainable lifestyle.
The competition was held virtually from August 10 to 18, 2022, through the official Instagram account of SRE UPNYK (@sre.upnvy), with the theme "New Renewable Energy/Sustainable Lifestyle". Bella outperformed other participants with her informative and engaging poster design, which provided concrete solutions to educate the public about renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
Students from the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI) at the University of Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta (UPNVY) have won 2nd place in the National Writing Competition Agricultural Food Competition Season 16, held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. This UPNVY student team presented an innovation titled ECOWRAP: An Eco-Friendly Biodegradable Wrapping Film Based on Water Hyacinth and Corn Cobs to Extend the Shelf Life of Fruits and Vegetables.
