The D3 Chemical Engineering Educational Video Team from UPN has qualified for the final selection in the 2020 Indonesian Vocational Olympiad.

In the 2020 Indonesian Vocational Olympiad (OLIVIA), the D3 Chemical Engineering Program at UPN 'Veteran' Yogyakarta delegated its team to compete in the Educational Video category. The team consisted of Rizqi Ahmad Nurbuwono (D3TK 2018), Aruna Manggala Utama (D3TK 2018), Imeilda Allafabaina Disri (D3TK 2018), and their supervisor, Susanti Rina Nugraheni, S.T., M.Eng. The theme of their video was "Creating Innovation and Competence In The New Normal Era," held virtually by the Vocational Faculty of Sepuluh November Institute. The competition took place from August 11 to November 10, 2020, with the winners announced on November 10, 2020. Chemical Engineering Student of UPN Successfully Publishes in International Journal (2023)
Two students from the 2021 batch of the Bachelor’s program in Chemical Engineering, Lubbi Ilmiawan Sembiring and Siti Aisahasnati, under the supervision of Dr. Heri Septya Kusuma, S.Si., M.T., have successfully published an article titled "Microwave-assisted drying of Cymbogopon nardus leaves: Kinetics, moisture diffusivity, energy, and emission study" in the "Journal of Stored Products Research."
