BEM FTI UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Holds Seminar and PKM Proposal Review 2019
After successfully winning one (1) gold medal at PIMNAS 2019 in Bali, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta is committed to continuously improving its achievements in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) competition. The seminar and PKM proposal review event held on September 7 and 14, 2019, organized by the Student Alliance (BEM) of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, is one of the efforts to increase enthusiasm among Industrial Engineering students towards PKM.
The seminar, themed 'Exploring Potential and Achieving Success Through the Student Creativity Program,' was attended by 180 students in the first week and 50 students in the second week. The first week’s event, held on September 7, 2019, featured Mr. Setyawan Wahyu Pratomo, S.T., M.Eng., who presented an introduction to PKM and its various fields. During this week, the Gonjang Ganjing team, the PIMNAS 2019 contingent from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, and the Geobuild Team, which secured PKM funding, were also invited to share their experiences and inspire students.
In the second week (September 14), the seminar continued with discussions on tips and tricks for succeeding in PKM, guidance experiences, and the motivation to participate in PKM. The speakers for the second week included Mr. Tri Wibawa, S.T., M.T., and Ms. Ismianti, S.T., M.Sc. This seminar was followed by a proposal review session, where participants who had already prepared proposals received feedback.
Through this seminar and proposal review event, it is hoped that student enthusiasm for PKM will increase, the number of funded proposals will rise, and UPN will continue to win medals in the upcoming PIMNAS competition.

In order to welcome the opening of the MBKM Bangkit 2022 program and the registration for the Bangkit Program for students, and to share the success of Informatics alumni who participated in this program in 2021, the Socialization of the MBKM BANGKIT Program held by the Department of Informatics this time invited two Alumni of the BANGKIT 2021 Program from the Machine Learning track (Nicholas Nanda S. - Informatics 2018) and the Cloud Computing track (M. Daffa Aldandy - Informatics 2018).

Let’s Check Out the Excitement of the 2023 Chemical Engineering Field Trip
The 2021 batch students of the Chemical Engineering Bachelor’s Program at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta organized an Offline Field Trip activity. This annual event aims to broaden the students' knowledge about chemical operations and processes in the Chemical Industry and Companies. The Field Trip took place from June 8 to 12, 2023, visiting five chemical factories, including PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, PT Petronika in Gresik Regency, and PT Yakult Indonesia Persada’s Mojokerto Plant in East Java.
