Facing the Future with New Spirit
Yogyakarta, January 23, 2025
A total of 79 prospective graduates from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta participated in a meaningful briefing session on Thursday, January 23, 2025, as they approach their graduation. With an average GPA of 3.57 and the highest GPA reaching 3.90, these graduates not only demonstrate outstanding academic achievement but are also prepared to face the increasingly competitive professional world.
This inspiring briefing session featured two expert speakers who shared insights and motivation, providing encouragement and confidence to the graduates as they prepare to take their next steps.
- Dewi Handayani Harahap, M.Psi. – A lecturer and licensed psychologist with a Professional Psychology Certification (SIPP) and a BNSP-certified HRD Assessor, who shared her understanding of the importance of self-development and mental preparedness for the workforce.
- Dwi Wulandari, ST., M.Ec.Dev. – Head of the Industrial Affairs Division at the Industry and Trade Office of Sleman Regency, who provided insights into the opportunities and challenges in the increasingly evolving industrial sector.
Additionally, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering presented the Karya Cendekia award to Umma Salma, a 2020 cohort student, as the recipient of the UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Academic Achievement Award. This award was given in recognition of her dedication and outstanding academic achievements.
The Faculty of Industrial Engineering hopes that this briefing will inspire and broaden the perspectives of the graduates as they prepare to enter the dynamic workforce. It is expected that these graduates will make a positive contribution to society and the nation.
