26 November 2021

FTI UPNVY organized the #MBKM practitioner lecture series for students in Inventory Systems and Green Supply Chain Management. The practitioner lectures were held four times. Sessions 1 and 2 took place on November 6 and November 13, 2021, with Mr. Suryo Wahono, Project Manager at PT. Asia Surya Persada (Infinite ERP) and Practitioner Lecturer of ERP at the Logistics Program, PEM AKAMIGAS CEPU. Session 1 covered Inventory Management and Session 2 discussed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Inventory Management.

These sessions focused on using ERP to optimize inventory management within companies. ERP is a system that integrates all business processes within a company, managing three flows: information, goods, and finance. ERP includes three processes: order to cash, production, and procure to pay. The goals of using ERP are:

  1. To simplify workloads and reduce information distortion (information can be accessed by all stakeholders)
  2. To reduce working capital
  3. To optimize the supply chain within the company

Additionally, there was a simulation on how to operate the ERP system conducted by the speaker.
