Socialization of E-Journals by UPT Library of UPN ‘Veteran’ Yogyakarta at FTI

In order to optimize the utilization of references, especially electronic journals, the UPT Library of UPN ‘Veteran’ Yogyakarta organized a socialization session about various e-journal services, including Wiley, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and EBSCO. This socialization was aimed at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta students from various faculties. For the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI) students, the socialization was held on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB, via the Zoom Meeting platform.
During this session, the presenters were representatives from the ProQuest database, Mr. Dwi Janto Suandaru, and from the EBSCO database, Mr. Sagung Seto. Both presenters provided detailed explanations and tutorials on how to access various e-journals available for students and lecturers. They also shared information on various features and conveniences that can be utilized for academic research and reference purposes.

Socialization of the MBKM BANGKIT Program for Informatics Students
In order to welcome the opening of the MBKM Bangkit 2022 program and the registration for the Bangkit Program for students, and to share the success of Informatics alumni who participated in this program in 2021, the Socialization of the MBKM BANGKIT Program held by the Department of Informatics this time invited two Alumni of the BANGKIT 2021 Program from the Machine Learning track (Nicholas Nanda S. - Informatics 2018) and the Cloud Computing track (M. Daffa Aldandy - Informatics 2018).

Let’s Check Out the Excitement of the 2023 Chemical Engineering Field Trip
The 2021 batch students of the Chemical Engineering Bachelor’s Program at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta organized an Offline Field Trip activity. This annual event aims to broaden the students' knowledge about chemical operations and processes in the Chemical Industry and Companies. The Field Trip took place from June 8 to 12, 2023, visiting five chemical factories, including PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, PT Petronika in Gresik Regency, and PT Yakult Indonesia Persada’s Mojokerto Plant in East Java.
