25 CPNS 2018 Join the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta

At the end of June 2019, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta began handing over the Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) Appointment Letters to 80 participants. The ceremony was led by the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Drs. Susanta, M.Si., who presented the letters to 80 individuals—70 in lecturer positions and 10 in administrative staff roles. These CPNS Appointment Letters marked the official start of their service at the National Defense Campus, effective July 1, 2019.
For three days, the new employees participated in an orientation program at the Rectorate Building. The purpose of this orientation was to introduce them to the history of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta and provide guidance from structural officials at the university level. On the fourth day, the CPNS 2018 candidates were assigned to their respective units.
At the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI), the introduction and briefing for the new staff were conducted by the Dean of FTI, Dr. Ir. Singgih Saptono, M.T. He encouraged the new employees to contribute fresh ideas and initiatives to advance FTI, particularly through active research and publishing in academic journals. Additionally, he set a goal for all CPNS to pursue further studies within the next two years. The event continued with briefings from the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Apriani Soepardi, S.T.P., M.T., the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Hidayatullah Himawan, S.T., M.M., M.Eng., and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Ir. Mahreni, M.T., Ph.D. The session concluded with the symbolic handover of 25 CPNS 2018 to the respective departments within FTI.
Specifically, 8 new lecturers were assigned to the Chemical Engineering Bachelor's program, 2 to the Chemical Engineering Diploma program, and 1 laboratory assistant was assigned to the Department of Chemical Engineering, led by Dr. Y. Deddy Hermawan, S.T., M.T. Six new lecturers were assigned to the Industrial Engineering Bachelor's program, under the leadership of Dr. Sadi, S.T., M.T., and 8 new lecturers were assigned to the Informatics Engineering Bachelor's program, under the leadership of Bambang Yuwono, S.T., M.T.
One of the new CPNS lecturers in the Industrial Engineering Bachelor's program, Berty Dwi Rahmawati, expressed her happiness at the warm welcome from FTI and the smooth running of the event. After hearing the guidance from the university's top officials, she shared her enthusiasm for national defense and her hope that her work would make a meaningful contribution to the institution, society, and the country.
