Looking Ahead: FTI Prospective Graduates Eagerly Join Pre-Graduation Briefing
Yogyakarta, September 18, 2025 — The Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) successfully held the Graduation Briefing for the 1st Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Thursday (9/18). The event was attended by 292 prospective graduates, as part of their preparation for the important milestone of graduation.
The briefing featured two inspiring speakers from different backgrounds. Dr. Sumaryono, M.Si., Psychologist, currently serving as Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), shared insights on the importance of mental and emotional readiness in transitioning to the professional world.
The second session was delivered by Dhimas Sulistyo Wibowo, S.T., an FTI alumnus and founder of PIPUPU Studio, who shared his experience in building a business after graduation and the challenges he faced in the creative entrepreneurship sector.
With the variety of insights provided, the event is expected to serve as a valuable preparation for FTI graduates as they look toward the future—whether entering the workforce or pursuing entrepreneurial paths.
