Industrial Engineering Students Win 2nd Place in ICEN-C 2021 Business Plan Competition

A team of students from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Engineering, consisting of Ervan Nur Zain, Camelia Azzahra Hakim, and Prima Puspowati, successfully won 2nd place in the Business Plan Competition ICEN-C 2021. This competition is part of a series of events organized by the Student Association of Diponegoro University. The team, all from the 2020 cohort, under the guidance of Industrial Engineering lecturer, Ismianti, S.T., M.Sc., developed an innovative business plan aimed at connecting farmers, youth, and consumers through a digital platform called PetaniKita.id. This digital product is designed to simplify the distribution process of agricultural products, accelerate market access, and empower youth in the agricultural sector.

On November 21, 2021, the team successfully reached the final round of the competition, which was participated by teams from universities across Indonesia. Through the PetaniKita.id innovation, which offers a technology-based solution to enhance efficiency and transparency in the agricultural supply chain, the team managed to outperform many other teams and secured second place in this prestigious event. This achievement not only demonstrates the quality of their idea but also their dedication and strong enthusiasm to contribute positively to the agricultural sector and community empowerment through technology.
