Tim LIBOLA from UPNVY Competes in PIMNAS 33

At the 33rd PIMNAS event, which was held both online and offline with Universitas Gadjah Mada as the host from November 24-29, 2020, the team from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering participated as part of the national competition. Sinta Nur Senja, Indah Putri Wahyuni, Salsabila Shafia D., and Muhammad Hanif Ardiyan, who are from the Industrial Engineering Department, along with additional member Akmal Baihaqi from the Metallurgical Engineering Department, took part in the 33rd PIMNAS in the Community Service (PKM) category, mentored by Ismianti, S.T., M.Sc. from the Industrial Engineering Department. Their project title was Utilizing Plastic Bottle Waste into Pipe Adhesive in Sukunan Village, Yogyakarta.

The 33rd PIMNAS was attended by 625 teams from 101 universities across Indonesia. On this occasion, UPNVY was represented by 2 teams: one in the PKM Community Service category and the other in the PKM Exact Science Research category. Although neither of these teams received a medal at this PIMNAS event, it did not discourage their efforts to continue contributing to the advancement of research in Indonesia and to society.
