FTI UPNVY Invites Prospective Graduates to “Nyalakan Karier” in a Session with Kak Maya
Thursday, July 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Industrial Technology successfully held a Graduation Preparation Program for the 6th Period of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, aimed at prospective graduates. The event was attended by 82 prospective graduates from the Faculty of Industrial Technology, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta.
This well-conducted event featured an inspiring speaker, Kak Maya Septriana, a Career Coach, Career Specialist, and Career Consultant from the Career Development Center (UPT Karier) of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta. During the session, Kak Maya shared valuable insights and key strategies to prepare for the professional world, including personal branding development, interview techniques, and building a sustainable career path.
In addition, Kak Maya guided the participants in creating compelling CVs and utilizing professional platforms such as LinkedIn. The session became even more interactive when one prospective graduate enthusiastically submitted his CV to be reviewed live by Kak Maya. Another prospective graduate also shared the contents of her LinkedIn profile as a sample to be improved together and used as a learning tool for the rest of the participants.
This activity aimed to provide additional preparation for the graduates so that they are better equipped to face the professional world after graduation. The participants showed great enthusiasm and were actively involved in discussions, indicating a high level of interest in the material presented.
Through this preparation program, it is hoped that the prospective graduates will not only complete their academic journey but also be ready to compete in the job market with confidence and strong competence.
