UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Supports the DIY Governor's Circular to Play the Indonesian National Anthem Every 10:00 AM WIB

On May 18, 2021, the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, issued Governor’s Circular (SE) DIY Number 29/SE/V/2021 regarding Playing the Indonesian National Anthem. In the circular, Sri Sultan HB X encourages that the Indonesian National Anthem be played every day at 10:00 AM WIB or whenever starting an activity. Attendees during the playing or singing of the anthem must stand upright in a respectful manner. This initiative aims to enhance the spirit of nationalism and strengthen the unity and integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, as a campus for defending the state, fully supports this Governor’s Circular. UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta has previously been playing the Indonesian National Anthem followed by the National Defense March at the start of every activity. With this circular, starting on May 20, 2021, the Indonesian National Anthem will be played every day at 10:00 AM WIB within the UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta campus.
