BEM FTI (Student Executive Board of the Industrial Engineering Faculty) for the 2018 management period, with a high level of commitment and integrity, organized the Student Management Leadership Training (LKMM) aimed at developing BEM FTI members' skills in self-management amidst their busy academic and organizational schedules, as well as fostering independence in organizing. The event was designed to achieve its goal as a training and learning platform for students, especially BEM FTI members, so they would be equipped with the necessary skills to manage an organization and become effective leaders. In addition, the event also integrated social, educational, and organizational elements.
With this event, it is hoped that BEM FTI members will become well-rounded students in both academics and organizations, contributing to the progress of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering. The objectives of this event are as follows:
- To shape the leadership character of BEM FTI members for the 2018 period at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta in managing organizational activities.
- To train BEM FTI members for the 2018 period at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta in critical thinking and effective time management.
The event ran smoothly and according to the planned sequence of activities. The main success of this event is hoped to result in BEM FTI members who are skilled in management and become both accomplished students and professional organization members.

Socialization of the MBKM BANGKIT Program for Informatics Students
In order to welcome the opening of the MBKM Bangkit 2022 program and the registration for the Bangkit Program for students, and to share the success of Informatics alumni who participated in this program in 2021, the Socialization of the MBKM BANGKIT Program held by the Department of Informatics this time invited two Alumni of the BANGKIT 2021 Program from the Machine Learning track (Nicholas Nanda S. - Informatics 2018) and the Cloud Computing track (M. Daffa Aldandy - Informatics 2018).

Let’s Check Out the Excitement of the 2023 Chemical Engineering Field Trip
The 2021 batch students of the Chemical Engineering Bachelor’s Program at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta organized an Offline Field Trip activity. This annual event aims to broaden the students' knowledge about chemical operations and processes in the Chemical Industry and Companies. The Field Trip took place from June 8 to 12, 2023, visiting five chemical factories, including PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, PT Petronika in Gresik Regency, and PT Yakult Indonesia Persada’s Mojokerto Plant in East Java.
