On Friday, June 12, 2020, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta held a sharing session on university rankings. This event was organized as part of the ongoing improvement efforts at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta to continuously become better. The session took place in the Informatics Department Seminar Room, Faculty of Industrial Engineering, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, while adhering to health protocols.
University rankings are conducted by various organizations, each with different versions, such as QS World University Rankings, Webometrics, UniRank, and other ranking systems. The goal of this sharing session was to break down the factors considered in these rankings.
By understanding the aspects evaluated in the rankings, the quality of education and the university's position in rankings can be more easily improved. This session provided important insights into how the ranking process works and the factors that affect a university's position. By focusing on improving these influential factors, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta is expected to enhance its reputation and quality, ultimately achieving higher positions in various global rankings.
